Why we are building Kantise
Our personal data has never been so plentiful, nor so scattered. Kantise exists to bring it together and make it readable.
Our vision
We live in an era of digital fragmentation. Your workouts live in one app, your music on Spotify, your games on Steam, and your sleep in yet another app. This dispersion deprives us of an essential overview.
Kantise was created to break these silos. Understanding your own data means being able to look at it together, not service by service.
What you cannot know today
Today it's impossible to easily answer questions that are fundamental:
- Does the music I listen to influence my gaming performance?
- Is my sleep better on days when I work out in the morning?
- How does my mood change according to my digital activities?
- Does my screen time affect my sleep quality?
What Kantise does
A single dashboard for data that today lives in five different apps:
- Centralized aggregation of all your data sources (official APIs)
- Data sovereignty: you remain the sole owner
- A correlation engine that surfaces what comes back week after week
- Full customization of trackers and visualizations
Our values
Privacy
We sell no data and run no advertising. Hosting is European, and export and deletion are one click away.
Simplicity
No need to be a data scientist. You connect your accounts, Kantise does the matching and shows you what keeps coming back.
Honesty
A correlation is not a cause, and we say so. Kantise opens leads for you to test on yourself; it promises no outcome and replaces no medical advice.
Transparency
The roadmap is public, including what is not done yet. The business model is a subscription, with no advertising and no resale.
The team
Kantise is built by a small team, including Benoit Kovarz, co-founder, who writes the blog. We are first of all the users of what we build: every feature starts from a need we had ourselves.
A small team means one concrete thing for you: when you write, a human answers, and the roadmap is genuinely open to discussion.
Join the beta
Kantise is in beta. Signing up now means using the tool while it is being built, and having a say in what comes next.
